Low FODMAP Queso Dip

Indulge guilt-free with our high-protein, low-fat, lactose-free queso, crafted to be gut-friendly while delivering delicious, creamy flavor.



Low FODMAP servings: 5


Ingredients: 

  • 2 cups lactose-free cottage cheese

  • 1 can diced green chili peppers(4 oz) 

  • 6 oz cheddar cheese, shredded 

  • ⅛ cup cilantro, diced for garnish 

  • ¼  teaspoon paprika

  • ¼  teaspoon chili powder 

  • ¼ teaspoon cumin 

  • ¼ oregano 

  • ¼ teaspoon salt 

  • ½ jalapeno 

  • 4 cherry tomatoes 


Instructions: 

  1. Blend the lactose-free cottage cheese until it becomes smooth.

  2. In a saucepan, combine the smooth cottage cheese with the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Heat the mixture over medium to medium-high heat until the cheese is fully melted. Be sure to stir continuously to prevent any burning. If you notice the mixture sticking to the bottom of the pan, reduce the heat.

  4. While the mixture is cooking, finely dice the jalapeno and cherry tomatoes. Set aside. 

  5. Once the mixture is melted, remove from the heat and mix in the diced jalapeno and cherry tomatoes.
